  • Client and Engagement-Related Information: to the extent a prospective or existing client submits organizational, operational, or financial information in connection with a proposed or active consulting engagement, such information is governed by the applicable signed engagement letter, master services agreement, or business associate agreement, and not solely by this Policy.

Praxis uses collected information for legitimate business purposes, including to:

Praxis retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements, after which information is securely deleted or de-identified in accordance with Praxis’s internal data retention practices.

These rights derive principally from the CCPA/CPRA (California), VCDPA (Virginia), CPA (Colorado), CTDPA (Connecticut), UCPA (Utah), and materially similar statutes enacted in other states. As a matter of company policy, Praxis extends a consistent process for honoring privacy requests to all Site visitors nationwide, regardless of state of residence, to the extent reasonably feasible.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for business and professional audiences and is not directed to individuals under the age of eighteen (18). Praxis does not knowingly collect personal information from children in a manner inconsistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If Praxis becomes aware that it has inadvertently collected information from a child in violation of applicable law, it will take reasonable steps to delete such information.

9. Protected Health Information (HIPAA) Notice

Praxis provides consulting, advisory, and operational intelligence services to behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, and other healthcare organizations. The Site itself is an informational and marketing platform and is not designed or intended to collect Protected Health Information (“PHI”) as defined under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (“HIPAA”). You should not submit PHI, patient identifiers, or other sensitive clinical information through general Site contact forms or unsecured email. To the extent Praxis receives, creates, or has access to PHI in connection with a client engagement, such access is governed exclusively by a separately executed Business Associate Agreement (“BAA”) and the applicable engagement documentation, and not by this Policy.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, or resources not owned or controlled by Praxis. Praxis is not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or terms of any third-party site, and inclusion of any link does not constitute an endorsement. You access third-party sites at your own risk and should review their respective privacy policies.

Praxis may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, business practices, or Site functionality. The “Effective Date” at the top of this Policy indicates when it was last revised.
